Lego UCS Luke’s Landspeeder.

“But I wanted to go to Tosche’s Station to pick up some power converters.” That famous Skywalker line is all I could hear while shooting this series. I wanted to have Luke’s speeder set in a familiar environment for all of us Star Wars lovers. A mixture of sand and dried-up dirt set the tone, along with a bright, sunny day. I also shot additional photos that took place at night and added a little mystery and drama to the photos. This set was not to scale with the minifigures, so that created a challenge. I used forced perspective to help push a little more realism and less comedy into the final shots.
