Lego Star Wars.

To create the vivid and rich world of Star Wars, I researched each and every film produced to date and recreated those worlds using everyday materials. I used baking powder and craft paper to build the frozen landscape of Hoth, sand and dried mud to reconstruct the dry and desolate landscape of Tatooine, and firewood, fake plants, and coffee grounds for the forest moon of Endor. Each world presented it own set of challenges, but I overcame them with inexpensive materials, some of which were used by the visual effects team during the production of the original trilogy. Every image shot was painstakingly created using these old filmmaking techniques and practical effects, which added a sense of realism and authenticity that is reminiscent of the original works they were inspired by. The force is strong with these images.
